<reviewbody>I always appreciate it when archive.org pages have reviews, because even being able to stream the entire album thanks to the wonders of broadband does not detract from the fact that I am a weak-willed wally who is easily convinced by a row of 5 stars. As such I thought I would just write a brief synopsis of this beautiful release.

I have been an ardent follower of God Is An Astronaut for quite some time, and so I must confess that having been turned onto your wonderful netlabel by Michael's "Boring Machines Disturbs Sleep" blog, I rushed straight for this release when I saw their name. I was not disappointed.

This compilation is a wonderful collection of everything that I love about independent artists in this kind of genre. Magyar Posse's opener is simply excellent, that ascending bassline that kicks in after about 10 seconds drew me in straight away, and the whole piece was just a lovely ride through some kind of beautifully chilly soundscape. The rhythms should by all means have been awkward, but not in the slightest, and the loud/soft sections could have been so generic, but avoided this entirely. Great track.

With expectations this high after the first track, I was crossing my fingers that the rest would live up to the opener. And by God it did. I can honestly say I enjoyed every single piece on this album, the stand-outs being Magyar Posse, God Is An Astronaut and Capulet. Simply beautiful.</reviewbody>
